Dedicated to presenting the finest painting, sculpture and photography, gallery owners Bart Habermiller and Emily Barnett bring forth an experienced eye for definitive quality and originality, cultivated from their combined 26 years in the art world. The result is an inspiring collection of art that is both beautiful and thought-provoking.  Artists are carefully selected for their high degree of artistic skill and ability to convey ideas in an accessible manner.
 
With a mandate of contemporary art informed by nature, Summit Gallery of Fine Art presents art which celebrate the beauty of nature, depict artist’s observations, and often explore topical issues surrounding human’s interaction with nature. Each gallery artist approaches their practice with a deep reverence for the natural world, seen not just as a subject matter, but also through colour palette, textures and depicted light qualities. While other artists share a realization and concern for issues relating to the state of our natural world.
 
The gallery is located up the stairs in the historic Cascade Dancehall, boasting 20 foot ceilings, skylights, a fireplace, chesterfields and the original dance floor. The comfortable atmosphere welcomes both the uninitiated  and seasoned collector to take their time to fully enjoy the experience of collecting art. Summit Gallery of Fine Art opened to the public in the Spring of 2005.
